Yuri Cafe anchor
A moment to unwind in the city.
Set in Shinjuku 2-chome, ANCHOR rainbow port tokyo serves koji-fermented lamb keema curry, seasonal quiches, and sweets among shelves lined with yuri literature.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Perched on the 2th floor of a building in Shinjuku 2-chome, ANCHOR rainbow port tokyo operates as a cafe and bar lined wall-to-wall with yuri manga and fiction. At mealtime, the standout choice is the fermented spice lamb keema curry, seasoned with a blend of spices and fermented koji that tempers the meat's gaminess into a balanced, accessible profile. Lunch sets include coffee, black tea, or rooibos tea for a relaxed drink after eating.
For a lighter meal, the kitchen serves quiche plates featuring staples like spinach and bacon or seasonal variations such as corn and edamame or summer vegetables with zucchini. Cafe visitors will find rich lemon cheesecake, affogato with ice cream, and matcha lattes. The bar side is equally well-appointed, ranging from sake tasting flights of labels like Dewazakura, Hakkaisan, and Harushika to cocktails, wine, and beer.
Orders are placed via smartphone QR code, and payment can be made with credit cards, IC transport cards, and various mobile payment apps. Whether dropping in during the afternoon to read or sharing a drink during evening bar hours, guests can unwind entirely at their own pace.
